夏休みは学校が休みになるので家族旅行のチャンス。
今年の夏の行き先はお決まりですか？
愛媛の西予市では”昭和の観光旅行展”を開催中です。
「そうそう、お父さんが子供のころは、こんな旅行だったんだ。
楽しかったなぁ。」と一人感慨にふけるお父さん・・・
はたしてこの楽しさはこどもたちに伝わるのか？？

■□■□■懐かしい旅のキオクに旅する■□■□■

昨年大ヒットした映画「ＡＬＷＡＹＳ　三丁目の夕日」では、
現在のように物質的には決して豊かではなかったけれど、
ほんのささいなことが楽しかったあの時代(ころ）の風景が見事に描かれていました。

この夏、西予市の愛媛歴史文化博物館では、「昭和の観光旅行」と銘打ち、
修学旅行、新婚旅行、家族旅行等、楽しかったあの頃の旅行が
よみがえる展示企画イベントを開催しています。
パンフレットのコピーから紹介させていただきますと、

「～日本人がいかに観光旅行好きであるかがうかがえます。
庶民の観光旅行の歴史を振り返ると、江戸時代の伊勢参りなどの
寺社参詣にさかのぼることができますが、さらに一般化したのは、
鉄道が全国的に張り巡らされ、大量の人が決まった時間に移動できるようになった
大正から昭和初期のことといわれています。
この時代はまさに観光ブームが到来した時代で、たくさんの観光案内のパンフレットや
名所旧跡の絵葉書などがつくられました。

戦争をはさんで、戦後観光バスによる団体旅行も盛んになり、
多くの人が旅行を楽しむようになりました。
この企画展では、想像の翼をもって昭和の観光地に向けて時間旅行に出発します。」

さらに関連イベントとして
■鉄道模型・出発進行
■駅弁やさんになってみよう
■ミニＳＬ発車オーライ※8月5日、6日、12日のみ
となかなかツボをおさえた内容で、特に団塊の世代あたりには涙モノではないでしょうか。

会場の愛媛県歴史文化博物館、名前のカタさはいかにもですが、愛媛の南予の山の中にあり、
ガシガシとにぎやかなせみの鳴き声と、むわっとする真夏の草息れが
昭和の夏休みにタイムスリップさせてくれます。
記憶の中にある旅の楽しさがよみがえってくる素敵な今年の夏の旅はいかがですか。
